The Silestone Institute was born with the vocation to improve the space and quality people’s life in the field of domestic and professional cuisine.

The Silestone Institute is an international platform dedicated to research and dissemination of knowledge about the kitchen space, both domestically and professionally.

The Institute is promoted by the Cosentino Group whose commitment to the kitchen has led it to become a world leader in the manufacture of quartz, granite and ultra-compact surfaces.

Starting from the concept of kitchen, and from a multidisciplinary vision, the Silestone Institute promotes initiatives and projects both in the field of the domestic and the professional kitchen, anticipating future needs, providing valuable knowledge for its publics of interest and for society in general.

In the domestic kitchen side, the Silestone Institute promotes a healthy lifestyle by offering advice on good habits in the kitchen, as well as trends on the evolution of uses and behaviours in this space, the use of materials and utensils , furniture or appliances, among others.

In the field of professional cuisine, its activity focuses on the territory of architecture and restaurant design, studying and contributing to generate opinion and debate in this field.

In 2017, the Silestone Institute celebrated its 10th anniversary for which a website and a video were created.
